I’ve spent years chasing light, fog, storms, and atmosphere, from the misty ridgelines of the Blue Ridge Parkway to the geysers, canyons, and wildlife of Yellowstone, where I’ve been guiding photography tours.

The mountains of western North Carolina are home, but the goal has always been bigger: to take people into the wild places that move them, wherever those places are. Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Glacier, Zion, the Smokies, or somewhere you’ve been dreaming about for years. If it’s worth seeing, it’s worth going.

These experiences are built around slowing down and genuinely experiencing a place rather than rushing from overlook to overlook collecting photos.
